I’m Kaan Çalışkan, a 34-year-old finance professional and behavioral finance researcher, currently based between Türkiye and Dubai. With nearly a decade of experience in the forex market and an academic focus on investor psychology, decision-making biases, and quantitative trading strategies, I combine theory and practice to develop robust, data-driven approaches for global financial markets.
I hold a MSc in Economics, Finance & Banking from Aydın Adnan Menderes University and am currently completing my thesis-based MSc in the same field, specializing in behavioral finance in forex trading. Over the years, I have obtained multiple professional certifications in quantitative analysis, mathematical modeling in finance, technical analysis, and risk management.
As a PAMM fund manager, I design and implement quantitative and mathematically driven strategies that incorporate behavioral finance insights to improve decision-making and optimize portfolio risk-reward balance. My research particularly focuses on the Ostrich Effect and other psychological biases that significantly influence investor behavior in volatile markets.

Beyond trading, I am dedicated to advancing financial literacy and investor education through publications, seminars, and specialized training programs. My work has been featured in financial news outlets and interviews, contributing to international discussions on market psychology, trading discipline, and quantitative investment approaches.
My mission is to help create a more informed, data-driven, and psychologically aware investment environment, both in the U.S. and globally, by bridging academic theory with real-world market practice.
